You don't have to fight the wheel through wind and passing trucks. This stabilizer keeps your vehicle tracking straight, so you're not tired at the end of a day of driving. Requires mounting kit (sold separately) for complete installation.
You've had tough experiences while driving. You white-knuckled when a semi blasts past and nudged things back on course through heavy winds. It's exhausting. With this stabilizer in place, the vehicle tracks straight instead of wandering and it cuts down on those constant corrections you have to make. It makes a huge difference when you spend hours on the road. When you stop fighting the wheel, you won't be worn out when you finally park.
A front tire failure is a nightmare scenario everyone dreads because it happens fast and the wheel yanks hard. If you've been through it, you know how helpless it feels when the vehicle wants to pull out of the lane. That's probably when this stabilizer really matters the most. It helps hold the wheel steady so you can slow down and bring things under control. It won't stop a tire from failing, but it can keep that situation from turning into something worse.
This stabilizer bolts on with hand tools, but you'll need a vehicle-specific hardware kit (sold separately). Once it's mounted, it has to be centered and torqued properly to work. If you're comfortable with those adjustments, you can handle it with some extra time. If not, we can help you find a trusted installer to handle the job. Either way, you only have to do it once, and it stays put.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer in white. Now folks, a steering stabilizer like this pairs with and requires a mounting kit, sold separately, to get attached to your RV, your motor home chassis to help steer it and effectively keep the RV or motor home straight and help prevent side winds, passing semis, and those kind of things, push it and take you off the road. So it's a simple bolt-on installation using standard garage tools that you should already have. There's no welding, drilling, or wiring required.
You do get the two bolts included. Again, as this is a replacement part, make sure you're checking out your parts to be sure you're getting the right things the first time. Overall, on a total length, I get about 30 1/2 inches. Now keep in mind, depending on if yours is fatigued or stretched out a little bit, it hasn't compressed, that measurement could change. But I did want to give you a basic measurement.
As far as an overall diameter, it's about 3 1/2 maybe 3 5/8 inches in diameter as well. So again, folks, this is the Safe-T-Plus replacement steering stabilizer in white. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
